2022 began with the exciting announcement of our second ISO 17025 accredited medical device pouch empirical testing and machine calibration Laboratory. Although this new laboratory located in Santa Barbara California is much smaller than our main laboratory which is located 60 miles east of Los Angeles in Redlands California, it packs the same horsepower as our main laboratory. The Van der Stähl Scientific North laboratory has been equipped with the same high-level calibration devices and will also incorporate our own patented testing systems in order to serve our medical device manufacturing partners best. This expanded capability will result in shorter lead times for calibration and testing services in order to help the nation’s medical device manufacturers deploy their life-saving instruments to the point of care.
